flood?

This weekend my town and surrounding towns were put on a high flood warning. It absolutely bucketed and when there was a calm in the storm I walked down the hill we live on that has the tiniest little creek to see what it looked like. I took some photos while I was there. Next to the trees there is usually just a big piece of empty land.

I assure you, the town I live in, isn't usually this ugly.

anniversary

Today I have been with my boyfriend for four years. We started dating shortly after my 16th birthday. I really cannot believe it's been four years. I never thought my first boyfriend would be only boyfriend, or that it would last this long. Crazy the way the world works. So in honour of our aniversary, I am doing this quiz I stole from Domestic Divinity. If you are not following her, you should. She is so funny and gorgeous! This is the 'Hunky Husband Survey'. I can't exactly remember, which makes me a bit sad. I know we both said it very early and it was mutual but I think the words actually came out of his mouth first.

Mine without a doubt. It takes a lot to piss him off.

I do. Even before I was living with him, I would take his laundry to my house and do it because he didn't have a washing machine hahaha

Uhh, I don't know. I guess I'm more 'book smart' but he is by no means stupid.

Me. He sleeps closest to the door. I read somewhere men subconsciously like to sleep closer to the door to protect against intruders.

I physically transfer the money or go to the post office and take cae of them but I don't really think how the money in a relationship works is anybody's business but ours.

What lawn? haha

Nick. Always. I'm banned from the kitchen unless I'm baking.

Not me. I suck

I am.

Whoever is wrong. We rarely fight, and when we do, it doesn't last long.

Mine. Nick's family doesn't treat me very nicely. My family love him like a son. Go figure.

spring

I am so excited right now. WINTER IS OFFICIALLY OVER! Thank god! I know it will probably still be cold for a few weeks but I am already excited for the warm weather. I absolutely hate winter. There are never enough layers of clothing to be warm, my feet go numb in my heels and to be honest, I could list a thousand things I hate about winter. But spring &summer, I feel warm just thinking about it. Crisp whites and soft nudes, vibrant florals, sunkissed skin, sunny days, bare legs &short dresses, swimming, sitting under the airconditioner in my underwear while eating an ice cream. I really cannot wait.

As today is the first day of spring, I was hoping that by some miracle it would be a gorgeous day today, but looking out my loungeroom window all I am seeing is a sky filled with clouds and no sun anywhere, my hands are cold and I'm all rugged up with my heater on, so here are some photo's to get myself and possibly you in the mood for spring. . .

I have the overwhelimg urge to go shopping, not really sure why, possibly because I'm female and always have this urge? Pity its 5.22am and the only thing open is...the 24 hour McDonalds. Once again, I woke up at 4am, off to the gym at 6.30am and I'm praying my gym clothes will dry by then. I'm in absolute agony from my workout on Wednesday. Is that a good thing?

Today Louise is going to attempt to wax my legs which should be interesting as every hair removal I have  ever used on my legs (other than shaving) has made me have an allergic reaction. Fingers crossed that salon wax doesn't make my legs turn red and blotchy. Have you ever had an allergic reaction to wax? I get my eyebrows waxed about every 3 weeks(they grow very fast, so annoying). I've had my underarms waxed and I've had many brazillions and no allergic reaction. How odd.

I'll probably go shopping later so I may be back with a haul, first one in a long time.

I spent my birthday with my boyfriend and then on Saturday I had a family bbq at my parents house for my birthday which was really fun and then I had a seedy Sunday

I have only been up for like an hour! I dislike that it's rainy and cold outside

If the year consisted of only one season, which would you pick?
Summer, I love everything about summer. Short shorts, mini dresses, tans, cocktails by the pool, swimming, fashion, absolutely everything. I loathe winter. Thank god it's almost spring!

Do you have any nicknames?

Corey calls me Paggy Waggy for some bizaare reason, Louise calls me Paigey Pants and my dad calls me Poss. I have honestly never heard my dad call me by my name.

Does it annoy you when people play dumb?
Yes. Why do people think acting stupid makes you look good? It doesn't.

What could you eat any day of the week and not get sick of?
Vegemite on toast. Best.EVER.

Do you understand football?
If this means, AFL then, yes. If it means soccer, my boyfriend attempted to teach me while the world cup was on. I tried, but I don't think I understood the finer points.

Primer

I am after primer reccomendations. Mine has recently started to give my skin an orangey tinge that shows through my make up. Not attractive at all. I have noticed Priceline only sell about 3 kinds of primers also, which is pretty disappointing. So I want to know what primer you use? Or if you have any you can reccomend to me.

I really want a pair of studded platforms. I couldn't find a picture of exactly what I want but what my dream shoe would be is, studs on just the platform and studs on the actual heel. Yummy.

James Bond Ultimate Collectors Edition
I fucking LOVE Bond. They have been playing a Bond movie every Thursday here, and I love it. I want every single Bond movie. Except the ones with Daniel Craig in it. Worst.Bond.Ever. Roger Moore is my favourite and as I type this I am watching The Spy Who Loved Me. Heaven!

New Jewellery
An engagement ring would probably freak me out but I want some new jewellery that doesn't come from Diva or Equip haha I want some new real deal diamonds.

A Puppy
I am moving house on October 1st and since my new landlord is a family friend, she said I can get a puppy! I am so excited. I have been thinking of names and breeds non stop. I don't want a small yappy dog. I want at least a medium sized dog and it has to be a boy.

A Holiday
To this exact place in the picture. I have wanted to holiday in the Whitsundays for a few years now and it will be happening next year. I cannot wait.

A new tattoo
Since my plans for my next tattoo got shot to shit, I have been trying to think of a new one and finally have a design in mind. I just have to get my tattooist to draw it up for me. I have already decided my next will be on my wrist. I will probably get it done in a month or so. It has been almost a year since my last tattoo, seems so much longer

hair rut

I'm in a hair rut at the moment. Since getting my extensions out, I have bleached my hair twice and dyed it twice but I'm still bored with it. I already have almost a centremetre of regrowth which looks awful, and is also precisely the reason I don't want to go back to blonde. I seem to constantly have that skanky black regrowth. I'm sick of dark brown. I don't want to touch red with a ten foot pole. What to do? I will probably just end up going dark brown again as usual. I'd like to get a new hairstyle but I don't trust any hairdressers around here. If I asked for a trim I would get a pixie cut. They just don't seem to listen or care.
